It can be hard dealing with people that always look to point out your flaws. Some people just plain go out of their way to make you look bad in front of others or even behind closed doors.
Now that you know you aren’t going to get what you thought you wanted, how are you going to move forward from this?
It is like we are all constantly chasing that feeling of happiness. To feel that we have reached our desired destination. To finally feel "happy".
Why do we judge each other? At the end of the day, we are all f*cked up.

How could a good and faithful God sit back and allow my life to unfold this way? Especially when I put my trust in him?
I was completely devastated. I felt like I had been shaken down to my core. Everything I had ever known was being taken away from me.
I didn’t want to leave him, because I didn’t want to be judged as weak, or as the girl who gave up.

I look at photos of myself as a child and it makes me sad. Sad to think I couldn’t protect her, sad that she had to become an adult at such an early age
First of all I don’t recommend dropping out of high school to anyone, but given I did it anyway, I am in a good position now to reflect on what it had taught me and how it has shaped me today.
Expectations. We all have them. We can't help but feel them, yet we know deep down that having them allows for disappointment. No one likes to be disappointed. So why do we hold onto expectations? What is the point of having them if we are opening ourselves to disappointment?
You start to question yourself, your goals, your motives and then you even start to wonder if it is all even worth it. Will you ever get there?
NO means NO. There are no if, buts or maybes.
Every single one of us is fighting our own battle. Each one of us have experienced our own trials and tribulations. Each one of us have experienced our own kind of heartbreak, pain and loss.
Little did I know this meeting would change my life forever.
